What is the winter maintenance secrets of laser equipment

The best environment for laser equipment

Temperature: 25±3℃

Humidity: 80±10%

Acceptable use environment for laser equipment

Temperature: 5-35℃

Humidity: 5-85%

Do not use the laser equipment below 5℃ in winter

Influence of low temperature environment on laser equipment: When laser equipment is operated or parked in an environment lower than 5°C, it is easy to cause lasers, external optical path lenses and other parts to fail to operate normally due to low temperature, or cause water cooling pipes to freeze. In severe cases It will cause deformation or rupture of the internal pipeline of the water cooling system.

If the cold water pipeline breaks and starts to operate, the coolant may overflow and cause damage to related core components. In order to avoid unnecessary losses, please add antifreeze or take other antifreeze measures for your equipment in time

apply.

Laser equipment antifreeze maintenance measures (water cooling)

Winter antifreeze measures

Install air conditioning or heating facilities to keep the operating environment temperature of laser equipment above 5°C;

24-hour operation of the chiller, the water is not easy to freeze in the flowing state;

When the laser equipment is not used for a long time or the power is cut off, be sure to drain the water in the chiller and store it in an environment above 5°C;

When the temperature is lower than 5°C, it is necessary to add laser equipment special antifreeze to laser machine in time.

Instructions for use of antifreeze

If the temperature may be lower than 5°C, it is recommended to replace the cooling water with 100% antifreeze in advance;

If the temperature is below 0°C, 100% antifreeze must be replaced;

When the temperature is continuously higher than 5°C, the antifreeze should be completely drained, and the chiller should be rinsed repeatedly with pure water or distilled water, and then replaced with commonly used pure water or distilled water.

Chiller Drainage Method

Step1: Make sure to turn off all power before draining water, open the drain valve behind the chiller, and drain the accumulated water in the chiller;

Step2: Remove the water inlet and outlet pipes behind the chiller (mark them for easy and correct reinstallation);

Step3: Unscrew the filter element of the chiller and drain the accumulated water in the filter element;

Step4: Use 0.2MPA (2KG) gas to connect to one end of the water pipe, and empty the accumulated water in the laser.

Note: If you need to use an air gun to blow and drain water, you need to open all the ports (including the water inlet) in advance, and use an air gun to blow in the gas from the water inlet instead of the water outlet. The pressure of the drainage gas should not be too high, otherwise the laser may be damaged. It is necessary to ensure that all accumulated water is completely drained to prevent the residual liquid from freezing and damaging the water-cooling pipes and components.

Precautions for starting up laser equipment in winter (water cooling)

Step1: Make sure that the indoor temperature is 5-35°C before the laser equipment can be turned on;

Step2: Check whether the water cooling tube is frozen, and the laser equipment cannot be turned on if it is frozen;

Step3: If there is ice, please turn on the air conditioner or heating facilities, adjust the ambient temperature of the laser equipment to 5-35°C, and let it stand for more than 4 hours. The next step can only be performed after the ice melts naturally. Do not take Violent deicing to avoid damage to equipment hardware;

Step4: After confirming that the laser equipment is not frozen, it is necessary to turn on the chiller for preheating;

Step5: After the circulating temperature of the chiller rises to the normal temperature (recommended temperature: about 25±3°C), the laser can be turned on;

Step6: After normal start-up, adjust the energy to below 30%, preheat for about 10 minutes by shooting the light, and then carry out normal production operations.

Antifreeze maintenance measures for laser equipment (air cooling)

Air-cooled laser equipment does not need to add antifreeze, and does not need to perform operations such as drainage. The winter antifreeze precautions mainly include the following points:

Winter antifreeze measures

Install air conditioning or heating facilities to keep the operating environment temperature of the equipment above 5°C;

Under daily working conditions, there is no need to install special protective measures;

When the laser equipment is not used for a long time or the power is cut off, it must be stored above 5°C.

Precautions for starting up in winter

After normal start-up, adjust the energy to below 30%, and keep the other parameters unchanged, and preheat for about 10 minutes before the production process.
